The pill PC market in India grew 22 % quarter-on-quarter in July-September with demand for 5G succesful units choosing up the steam, CyberMedia Analysis stated on Monday.
CMR anticipates the pill PC shipments to report a wholesome 10-15 % progress in 2022.
Samsung led the market with a 28 % market share, adopted by Lenovo and Apple with 26 and 19 % share, respectively, in the course of the quarter.
“The India pill market grew 22 % quarter-on-quarter, with 5G-capable pill shipments choosing up steam within the run-up to the festive season,” CMR’s Pill PC Market Report Assessment for Q3, 2022, said.
Cargo of tablets with 8-inch-display constituted 43 % of the general shipments within the Indian market.
“Shipments of 5G tablets continued to realize power in Q3 2022. That is pushed by the current 5G auctions and the start of the 5G period. The expansion in 5G Tablets is per the traits seen within the 5G smartphone market,” CMR, Analyst-Trade Intelligence Group, Menka Kumari stated.
Samsung Tab A8 (Wi-Fi and 4G) and Tab A7 Lite (Wi-Fi and 4G) had 25 and 18 % market share, respectively.
“Samsung shipments recorded 83 % QoQ progress within the third quarter of 2022,” the report stated.
Lenovo was positioned on the second place in your entire area, primarily pushed by its business enterprise and retail market.
Apple iPad 9 (Wi-Fi) and Apple iPad Air 2022 (Wi-Fi) had a 57 and 15 % market share, respectively, adopted by Apple iPad Professional 2021 (Wi-Fi) 8 % and Apple iPad Air 2022 (Wi-Fi) 6 % within the pill market.
“Apple iPad shipments recorded 26 % QoQ progress within the third quarter of 2022,” the report stated.
